“You’re Full of Shit Today”: Rep Mace Minced No Words While Questioning Secret Service Director

It started civilly enough. Members of Congress arrived with the intention of hearing Kimberly Cheatle out. The first female Director of the Secret Service is under intense pressure to resign after the epic failure resulting in an assassination attempt on President Trump. 

Cheatle, however, is digging in much like Biden did until his abrupt resignation announcement by proxy on Sunday. 

Rep. James Comer, Chair of the Congressional Oversight Committee, opened up the proceedings with a polite address and a note to Members that a strict five-minute window would be open to each Member for questioning. He granted Cheatle an exception to the usual opening statement time allotment, encouraging her to use as much time as she needed.

Cheatle then gave her prepared statement to the Members, promising to cooperate as fully and be as transparent as possible. She admitted the responsibility for the failure was hers, and expressed deep regret, vowing to move heaven and earth to ensure it never happens again.

Members’ questions, though direct, began civilly enough, asking the obvious questions. But when Cheatle repeatedly dodged the questions, claiming either that she could not answer specifics in a public forum, referring a question to the FBI, or stating that she did not have an accurate timeline of events to refer to, annoyance built.

Rep Jim Jordan was the first to abandon a pretense of patience. “Were you guessing or lying,” he asked, before continuing with, “The day after President Trump is shot, Secret Service spokesman [Anthony Guglielmi] said, quote, the assertion that a member of the former president’s security team requested additional security resources that the U.S. Secret Service or Department of Homeland Security rebuffed is absolutely false.” He went on to press Cheatle for specifics on what and how often resources for Trump’s security have been refused.

Multiple Members called for Cheatle to resign or be fired. Rep Mace, though, said what everyone watching was thinking.

“That’s bullshit,” Mace fired at Cheatle after Cheatle denied knowledge of how her statement was leaked to liberal news outlets prior to the hearing.

Moments later, Mace disgustedly snapped, “You’re full of shit today,” before a call for decorum was issued. 🤣 

Decorum has been decidedly lacking in politics and the media for years. Attempting to resurrect it now seems like tossing a spoonful of water on a raging fire. 

Cheatle is scheduled to appear at another hearing today. 

Share This With Anyone Who Says They Are Voting For Kamala Because She Is A Woman

Would it be awesome to see a woman of any race in the Oval Office?

Absolutely- but this would be one of the greatest representations of women in our history. And that woman needs to be strong, smart, capable, and honest.

She needs to be a woman we want to hold up as an example to our daughters for having earned this honor with integrity. She needs to be a woman the whole country embraces.

Not this.

Not a woman who has failed in her primary task of border security, who leads the charge to turn a woman’s womb into a death chamber for precious infants, who has at a minimum paid no attention to the president’s mental and physical incapacity to perform his duty, and at most has been complicit in lying about this.

And that’s just the shortlist.

We need a woman who is worthy of the honor, for she will exemplify the extraordinary power women hold and the amazing grace women can bring to the world.

Not one who is widely known for her inability to navigate the complexities of the role she has been cast in.

Look at the shame brought to women today, by the extreme ineptness of the first female Director of the Secret Service.

Women cannot afford the very next high-profile female leader- the Leader of the Free World- to be anything other than exceptional.

The right woman will elevate us all.

The wrong one will damage our credibility for decades to come. 

It is understandable to jump at the opportunity to have “one of us” elected to President.

We women are thirsty for further respect and equality.

For women of all races. 

But be patient. 

Just like a seawater can seem like salvation to a parched soul, Kamala can seem like salvation to a soul thirsting for a woman pouring from the cup of power. 

And just like that seawater that first felt quenching but then turned deadly to a body, so, too, will Kamala be to the cause of feminine power. 

Do not poison this country and the world with a cup of seawater. 

There will be better choices ahead.
